We often take part in projects that aren’t strictly client animation jobs, we’re passionate about animation and want to pass that on to others. From giving talks to university students on the path to becoming animators, to hosting workshops for kids to get involved with the medium for the first time. We’re always ready to share motivate and create!
Mwnci Animation Workshops
Kotatsu Festival
In 2023 we partnered with Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival to design and teach an animation workshop for kids aged 13 and under at Cardiff Central Library. The lessons spanned a week, starting with the fundamentals of animation, then following the steps of making a short film from storyboard to animation.
Reaching Wider
In 2025 and 2026 Mwnci Animation have partnered up with Reaching Wider to provide free afternoon animation workshops for ages 13-16. These include after-school sessions, full-day workshops, and single hour crash courses that guide participants through the whole process, from script to screen.
Talks and Appearances
We have been invited multiple times to give talks at Cardiff Metropolitan University to help guide budding animators on their first steps into the world of professional animation. We’ve also made appearances at small business events and won an award for our achievements as graduate business owners.
